It's a great piece on the relationships among trio Bill Clinton, Dale Bumpers and David Pryor. And it drops a few other pretty big Arkansas political names too:
http://www.nytimes.com/1993/03/27/us/of-3-arkansas-pals-and-a-raccoon-roast.htmlsamantha.p.friedmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04793470777939650909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3749524869870019356.post-23861725578289052742010-06-06T22:05:45.259-04:002010-06-06T22:05:45.259-04:00Jill - getting your picture "made" is an...Jill - getting your picture "made" is another Southernism for me. (For those who are unaware, as I was, Mack's is basically Stuttgart's version of Bass Pro Shop or the like.) We stopped and spent some time perusing Mack's, and I even had my picture made in front of the store. The coon supper and Mack's made for a very memorable Arkansas experience for this Texas girl.

Though the food was disgusting, looking at your pictures makes me wish that I had gone this year, too. Next year, we're there.Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17814085949277598238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3749524869870019356.post-32123821030304163592010-06-06T19:24:10.287-04:002010-06-06T19:24:10.287-04:00Duck bites actually sound really good.
